Raincard has a New Spin on Branded Gift Cards

Raincard has a New Spin on Branded Gift Cards

Brands are constantly looking for ways to drive customer loyalty. One of the best methods of doing so is through gift cards. However, the hurdles currently in place make it very difficult for even the largest brands to produce gift cards at mass scale.

Recognizing the benefits of brands having access to self-branded gift cards, co-founders Mark Schultz and Shawn Gensch launched Raincard. The five-member Raincard team has applied for a patent that would give life to branded, and even itemized gift cards.

Recently, Raincard finalized a working demo of the application, and secured a pilot test from a major retailer. In the coming year, Raincard looks to be reviewing the results of their third pilot test and will be continuing to raise funds through the rest of their seed round.

Learn more about Raincard at the upcoming Beta.MN / Showcase event. Tickets are onsale, but they’re going fast! The event will be held on Sept. 19, from 5:30-9pm CT, at the Target Commons.
